BROOKLYN, NEW YORK
A design-build job in a Landmarked building, this Park Slope café quickly became a neighborhood staple when it opened in 2013. The space is comprised of two storefronts with varying entry platforms within a single shallow footprint. A subtle ramp connects the two floor heights and is highlighted by a seamless Corian cafe counter.
The custom steel and anti-glare glass sneeze guards hinge to allow an additional POS station. The spalted maple food pedestals were also custom made to display Gather's delicious prepared foods at various heights behind the counter.
