BROOKLYN, NEW YORK

Located on a quiet, tree-lined street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, this narrow Brownstone suffered from years of neglect and haphazard renovations.

The owner's duplex was reconfigured, creating a parlor level that suits modern, open floor plan living while maintaining various late-1800's detailing. A master-suite and second bedroom, located on the garden level, are connected to a grand bathroom, which utilizes the refinished original cast iron fixtures.

The home underwent a gut renovation of the interior, which includes new windows, oak flooring, mechanicals, kitchen and baths.
